The studio
Bjarne O. Henriksen is an award-winning writer for screen and fiction with internationally distributed film and television credits. He created the action series Gøngehøvdingen (2.25 million viewers) and the hit sitcom Bill & Daphne, and collaborated for two years with director Erik Balling at Nordisk Film.
His debut feature Eddie Holm’s Second Life won a Silver Nymph Award in Monte Carlo. Ørnens Øje (Eye of the Eagle) was nominated for the Golden Bear in Berlin. Herforth & Jensen received a European Script Fund Award. He was subsequently invited to join the European Film Academy.
He now writes tightly structured, cinematic fiction under Read a Film — stories designed to be read, story worlds engineered for page and screen.
